You can”t say that about pictures in the rest of the world, unless they happen to make it on TV or in a widespread media print. Overall though, the spread of the web is what adds value to the picture.
Another reason that pictures are so powerful is that they can directly display something that you might not be able to put into words. A computer issue, for instance, might show up on a print screen that you can send someone to analyze and post feedback on. If you saw something on a site or on the television that you want to share with people, all you have to do is upload the photo and it will often speak for itself. Pictures can take the place of most written statements because they have the ability to convey a message all on their own.
If you are a fan of picture blogs, you might also know that good pictures are often the start of good conversation. Someone may post something utterly entertaining, and the site will allow others to converse about it via comments on the page. If there is a particularly funny picture, people can leave their remarks on what made them laugh about it. If the photo is controversial, that may spark a conversation all its own. People can get highly passionate about certain topics online, and the conversation may very well end up being greater than a thousand words in length.
Overall though, pictures are just easy. You take them or find them and then load them up. You can put a funny one liner as the caption for your photo, but you don”t have to if you do not wish to.
