MLM Prospects Versus MLM Pay: Is It a Myth?
By Kevin Ihrig
New MLM prospects often have dollar signs in their eyes. How much will they make? When will the y get rich? Will they have a beach house this year, or next?
The questions can fly fast and furious! You have to give them some guidance and help them to learn how to do it.
But what can they expect to earn? I think today many people have learned that while a few people do get rich quick, it is not the norm. Also, often that one GRQ person had previous experience under her belt.
The Good and The Best of MLM Pay
When a new recruit or prospect starts thinking about signing up, they need some real numbers.
Often, they only hear of the most highly paid, and it looks too high. I know I have been put off by a sponsor telling me only how much the highest paid earn. You look at the MLM compensation plan, and you might think, how am I going to get to that level?
And of course, you always have that little disclaimer at the bottom of photocopied checks that says results not typical or something like that.
Luckily, you have access to much more information than that. You can help them to see why your MLM opportunity really makes sense, and why they should join with you.
Your New Recruit Packet
Did you look through your new recruit packet when you started? You should have been given a pay breakdown of all the distributors in your company, with average earnings for every level from new sign up to a Five Star Rebel Commander.
Usually, your highest paid level or even the top two will amount to less than a percent. The average for these can be huge. Six figures at least, and often over $1 Million per year. Which is great.
The next level might only earn, on average, $25,000 or 30,000 per year. Think about that for a minute.
This group still averages a full time income. They don”t have to go to work to earn it. Also, they likely are still earning and growing into their position. Eventually, they will refine their skills in this company and grow, or perhaps switch to another company and earn more.
This bodes well for you and your MLM prospects. You can show them that many people, often several thousand, earn a full time income in your company. It’’s not just a few at the top,
MLM Truth
It’’s real - many MLMer’’s earn a full time income based on those reports. Yes, a few earn super incomes, and you probably want to be one of those, That’’s great, keep up the work.
But if you need to prove you have a real opportunity for a work at home mom or dad, you can use your little cheat sheet of stats from your company. Show your prospects that people do earn. Don”t fret that not everyone earns a suspersized superbonus. Just tell them how they can be one of the top earners.
