The most lucrative form of making money online is to adopt Affiliate Programs into your promotional strategy. I have realised that affiliate marketing has grown in popularity as an established method of promotion with minimal investment. You do not even need to own a website to be an affiliate.
All you need to do is to become an affiliate to a product created by somebody else and generate referrals for that product to a website which has the sales copy and the related information of the product. I would recommend that choose the market very carefully it is good to be knowledgeable and interested in the market you select. Otherwise, I would spend time and effort in having to learn about the market or may be learn from my mistakes as I go ahead. I believe former is always better than the latter.
Similarly, when it comes to choosing the product to market I would do a thorough research about the product I am interested in, to make sure that it has a relatively high demand, and it is reasonably new to the market, has a respectable conversion rate and carries an appealing sales copy. I would definitely shortlist products which have a niche and a well defined customer or client base.
Now that I have chosen my affiliate product and the market, the next important aspect is to create traffic for the product as this is what would get me my bottom line. I would choose a combination of a couple of techniques article marketing, forum marketing, pay per click, social networking so I can cover a broad spectrum of my target client and thus roll in more cash. I would suggest creating a subscribers list through auto responder on a squeeze page by offering a few attractive bonuses or giveaways. This way I will be able to build my mailing list with a focused set of interested people and in creating a relationship of trust and partnership by sending them promotional information, product updates or newsletters.
I can keep selecting fresh affiliate products to promote through my website to these existing mailing lists depending on their set of interests and pursuits and maintain a continuous monthly inflow of money for myself.
