If you want to make money online selling products and services, but don”t have the capabilities to design and manufacture your own, you might want to deal in resale rights products to earn some serious money. These types of products have been designed and created by other people, but you can market them under your own brand in your online store, and profit from your sales.
There are a lot of products that have been created by programmers, as well as a lot of e-books written by authors who don”t have the time or skill to market them. You can take advantage of this by offering to market these products for them, labeling them under the brand you carry, and even including the products in an affiliate marketing program.
Many of designers and creators of these products offer resale rights for them for many different reasons. One reason may be poor sales. If the author of an e-book or a software designer hasn”t had much success selling their e-book or software, they may put them up for resale. Or perhaps they specifically enjoy the creative process of writing an e-book or designing a type of software, and have no interest in marketing and selling what they create.
Another reason is that they may have designed software containing their own links in order to create a huge potential for back end sales. Other developers create products specifically for rights resale, as this is one quick way to make a buck, while others yet come up with products for the specific purpose of generating customer interest in their mailing lists.
There are three basic kinds of resale rights products that you can deal with. Basic resale rights are the type or products that you can market and sell to customers for any price you may choose to set. You even get a hundred percent of every sale you make. One disadvantage is that you can”t alter the product in any way, or transfer product rights to your customers should they decide to resell the product themselves.
The second kind are master resell rights. In this case, you can market and sell both the product and the rights to resell it for a certain price of your choosing. You also get to keep 100% of the sale price, but you aren”t allowed to change the product in any way. If your customer decides to resell the product, they can do so.
Re-branding resell rights on the other hand allow you to alter some aspects, such as links, using software designed for the purpose. One example are private label rights. Private label rights allow you to market and put up for sale an “unfinished” or “rough draft” of a product, such as software or e-books. All you need to do is edit them or put in the finishing touches, and you can market and sell the product under your own name. This is also true of software source code that you can customize, or hire a programmer to recreate the graphics or add new features. The end product will be something you can market and sell under your own brand name.
