Process Affiliate Rebates: Rebate Processing Lives On
By Steve Albright
By now most people have heard of the many rebate processing scams circulating the net. If you haven”t, this scheme has gotten so big that it has even been featured on 20/20 as part of a sweeping work at home scams expose.
Most people have learned how to spot this scam and now know how to avoid it and not fall for their very enticing offer. However the scammers aren”t giving up that easy and it appears that this company will be around for quite some time claiming to show people how to become bill killers despite their bad press.
The original scheme was basically using a pretense of real jobs and real work at home to sell an affiliate marketing manual. The manual showed you how to become an affiliate sign up for Google AdWords and market some digital products.
To increase sales the program advised you to offer a discount on the item that you were selling in the form of a rebate. Once someone purchased from your affiliate link you would send the customer a small part of your commission to complete the transaction.
Thus they used this scenario to design a whole concept of rebate processing around. When in fact anyone can see that you aren”t really processing rebates and that this the farthest thing from a real work at home job as you can imagine.
The 20/20 episode went on to expose this and a host of other faults with the way that this company has been performing business. The problem is that the rebate processing people have stumbled on a formula that really works well and their sales have been through the roof.
So in order to continue duping the public they keep altering the name of the program and changing their front man or in this case front woman. They”ve been through: Angel, Angela, Diana, Penbrook, Stevens, and many more.
All in an effort to distract the customer into thinking this is not the same affiliate course showing you how to allegedly process rebates. The best defense against this kind of persistent scheming is to keep doing your research.
Before you buy a work at home program or invest in any kind of online business run some checks with online watchdogs and consumer protection services. This will ultimately save you a lot of money and time trying to cancel subscriptions and requesting refunds.
Most importantly remember that there are no real rebate processing jobs, this is a fictional industry made up to take money from innocent people. Anyone who thinks otherwise should check the thousands of comments left online from people who”ve been taken by this deceptive scam.
