How Many Article Submissions Is Too Many?

Some people get the false impression that when it comes to submitting articles across the web that the more that you submit, the more exposure that you are going to get and the more free traffic you will obtain. Although I myself would love this to be the case, it’’s not, and the reality is that it can actually hurt your business if you try to do a type of “article blitz.”
You see, each time you submit an article to the many article directories across the web, it normally gets reviewed for content. Now, don”t get me wrong, there are some article directories that accept just about every single article that is submitted to them. This is the type of site that doesn”t review articles and unfortunately, your article on one of these sites is going to get you little to zero exposure. What you really want is to write good content, get it seen by some of the more prestigious article directory sites, and then hope that they promote that article to other sites as great content.
Now, here’’s where even the best of article writers will mess up. They will get the false idea in their heads that if they are always writing great content, then they will always have their articles accepted by the article directory sites. The truth is that if an article directory site has noticed that you are sending them 5, 10, or 20 articles per week, they will then recognize you as the author and start to simply discard your articles. They will assume that since you are submitting so many articles, that you must not be submitting your best work.
But, if you limit your article writing to just maybe a few articles per week, and make each one of those articles your best work, then these article directory sites will then start to really notice you as an author. And as long as your content continues to perform, then you will grow as a valuable asset to them and they will start to look forward to your content. It will get easier and easier for them to accept each one of your articles into their directory, and your best work (in their eyes) will be shared with more and more sites, bringing you the exposure that you deserve.
So, don”t make the mistake of planning on an “article blitz.” Do things right. Make a couple of great articles each week and get those couple of articles actually read and accepted by the article directories. Try and make these 2 articles per week so great that your readers will also be highly impressed. Then, all will be well with your online business.
