Whatever you”re selling is already out there and probably sold cheaper. You need to have a legitimate business and product that allows you to be successful.
3. Can you tolerate volatility?
Working for yourself whether on the Internet or any other business can really test your health. Some months you may be on the top of the world and excited about working for yourself. The next month, you may be cursing ever leaving the safety of your cushy job. Not only is your pay likely to be all over the board, you are also missing out on other securities like health care plans, retirement options and other perks of working for the man. If you can”t stomach the life of a entrepreneur, starting a home-based Internet business isn”t for you.
4. Social Aspects of working from home.
Most people don”t think it would bother them to never see their annoying cubicle neighbors but many work at home Internet entrepreneurs quickly find out that they miss the water cooler talk at the office. Working for yourself can often be a lonely path. If you have a hard time not conversing with people each day, you may not be cut out for working at home.
