Become The Michael Phelps In Your Home Based Business
By Scott Miller
Michael Phelps is an American hero. He has won 14 career Olympic gold medals, that’’s more than any other Olympian. He also currently holds 7 world records in swimming, incredibly impressive by anyone’’s standards.
So what does Michael Phelps have to do with you and your home based business? If you”re looking to find phenomenal success working from home you might want to look to Michael Phelps for inspiration.
No I”m not saying you should spend more time at the local pool. I”m actually not talking about swimming at all. Work hard with a goal in mind, believe in yourself and never give up!
If you”d like to “go for the gold” in your home based business here are a few tips that might just put you in the winners circle. Think of this article as your own personal training session.
#1 Work hard and never give up
It’’s easy to work hard for a few days or weeks and then stop. However, if you want to be the best of the best you have to work hard and do it consistently. Olympic athletes work hard year round no matter what for years. That’’s what it takes to become the best and that’’s what you”ll have to do to become successful too.
#2 Listen to your coach
Obviously you won”t have a coach with a whistle shouting at you in your home based business, but you should listen to the people who know what they”re talking about. Your upline or other successful people in your company can be a great source of knowledge and encouragement. You don”t have to figure it all out for yourself. Listen to people who have already been where you want to go.
#3 Ignore negative influences
Everyone has negative influences in their lives, even record breaking Olympians. If you really want to be a winner in your home based business you will have to ignore all those people and do whatever you need to do to be successful. Listen to the people who know what their talking about and ignore the haters.
#4 View your failures as opportunities to learn
Nobody is perfect so don”t be so hard on yourself. If you call a few people and none of them sign up, so what! Just look at those calls as practice. A real winner is someone who doesn”t let every little thing along the way get them down. Use each experience as a chance to learn and get better.
Follow your heart, work hard and your success in a home based business won”t be just a dream it will be a reality. Don”t just shoot for the bronze or silver, go for the gold!
