The current condition of the economy practically goads me to search for ways to earn extra money. I considered quite a few home based business options before deciding on online affiliate programs. My research had led me to decide in favor of affiliate programs based on the following factors:

1. Affiliates involved in the program would bring in additional revenue, whereas I would have to generate all the revenue myself for most other businesses. Therefore, if I increased the number of affiliates, my revenue would increase correspondingly. Moreover, as an added advantage my affiliates would help promote my brand as well as advertise it is thereby helping me make money online with affiliate program. 2. I would have to pay my affiliates only when they actually make a sale, unlike other businesses, where I would have to pay marketing personnel regardless of whether they actually made sales or not. As a business man, this makes perfect sense. I do not waste my money on non productive elements! This way I can capitalize on the available income opportunity.

3. I do not need to manually track the leads that I generate, since most affiliate programs offer services like automated tracking of leads, sales and report generation. Therefore it is easier and less time consuming for me to follow up on these leads. Since I incur no additional cost for these services, I not only earn extra money, but get to enjoy it too. This gives me more time for my family.

4. The volumes of traffic my affiliates would direct to my site (to check out my product) would not only generate commissions from product sales, but, coupled with Google ad sense, would ensure that I earn extra money through that as well. The ad revenue from the free traffic generated by my affiliates would guarantee this. This additional revenue would make my experience of making money online with affiliate program sweeter still.

5. Search engine rankings are dependent on backlinks which is, the number of links that point back to your site. Affiliate programs would necessarily generate hundreds of inbound links, which, while helping you make quick money, also improve your ranking on organic searches immensely. This means that I would not have to spend money on advertisements, since these search rankings fir my site would ensure my sites visibility anyway!

6. Yet another good thing about affiliate programs is their rate of growth, which ensures its reputation as the easiest way to make money online. All I would have to do is enlist a few excellent affiliates, who would then enlist others, my network would thus grow exponentially. I would, of course, have to choose the product wisely, for an excellent product would generate the best revenue.
