A lot of people claim to make huge incomes from eBay. You have probably seen the popular late night eBay infomercial where some people claim to be making thousands of dollars per month. Compared to some businesses their expenses are lower as they don”t have outside business premises expenses, employees, or anything that typical brick and mortar nature. Some eBay sellers do not even touch the inventory, prefering a drop ship company to fulfill their orders. So given their expenses are low, there is a lot of profit being made.
Given the fact that everything can be handled on line 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, you can start out on eBay part time and not have to quit your job. You can take orders automatically when you are not available, and pack and mail the products even on your lunch hour. Saturdays are always a good time to ship products too. Unlike some hobbies, this spare time venture could earn you some significant income.
Ebay does not care where you live or what you look like. You do not have to wear a business suit or go to the office. You can be a farmer living out in the country and still sell on eBay and make money. You can get started immediately with no job interviews and no commute. But you do have to have minimal computer skills, be able to read, write and perform basic math.
So how to get started? Do you have anything you would like to get rid of, that you could sell on eBay? These would be good products to get familiar with eBays selling procedures. Can you think of any other places you could get something cheap to sell? How about yard or estate sales, or storage unit auctions to name a couple. Also if you are willing to buy in bulk, you can find sources for just about anything at prices low enough to profit on.

You really don”t have to advertise if you are selling things people want, as they will come looking for it. Ebay could be your chance to join the PowerSellers and maybe break lose from that day job.
