Let me ask you a simple question..Do you think you
have got the math right for your business?
Most InfoPreneurs don't.
They are doing their business math as 1 + 1 = 4.
It doesn't matter how much you would like
1 + 1 to equal 4. It just doesn't. It equals 2. It
will always equal 2. You can try for the rest of your
life to get it to equal 4, but it's just not
going to happen.
Let's say you have a modest goal of earning $60,000
this year. To get there by selling $20 ebooks will
require you to make 3000 sales i.e you have to sell
over 250 ebooks each and every month to reach
your yearly goal.
That is a lot of customers to work with, even if it
is all automated. You still have to remember that some
of those customers will have trouble and need personal
support of some type.
You then either have to handle those problems yourself
or you have to hire someone else to handle them
(then you would need more sales to reach your goals).
On the other hand if you were selling $100 product
you only need 600 sales.
Which one is easier once you count the math,
doing 3000 sales or 600?
Before you answer that, I can tell you that
making 600 sales is a whole lot easier than 3000...
regardless of the price. You have fewer customers
to deal with and your life is much less stressful
reaching your goals.
Guess what? The math looks even worse once you start
selling through affiliate programs. Take that same
$20 ebook and now you only receive $7 per sale.
You would then need to make over 78 sales per day!
Hey! Math is working against you!
You can struggle against the math. Ask all the "gurus".
Go on buying all they say without thinking. Try new methods.
You can even get a consultant. They'll probably dance around
the real problem and give you 10 points to follow and
tell you how to spend $2,000 to fix the problem.
They'll be too darn scared to tell you the real problem.
They'll want to pacify you with some minor "improvements."
Reality is, they don't want to offend you because they want
you to come back for more advice in the future.
The real problem, my dear friend, your
arithmetic doesn't work. 1 + 1 doesn't equal 4.
SO WHAT'S THE SOLUTION?

1) Sell a set of $10 products as a "lead generator"
to add new customers to your database Sure, you will
be making some profits from those products. But the
real purpose of selling them though was to add new
customer to your database who would then eventually
buy our other products and services.
2) Sell a slew of low ticket (less than $40) related
product by cross selling or up selling related product
to your old customer base. You are increasing your income
from each customer this way. Anyone who has been in
business will tell you it is much easier to sale to
your existing customers than acquiring new customers.
3) Lead them to a higher ticket item through Step 2
i.e your low ticket items should lead them to a backend
offer. Here's where you are going to make most of the profit.
4) Stabilize your monthly income by selling a
subscription service or membership site.
What I've just told you is one of the foundations
of business that surprisingly many home business owners
ignore. They want to close their eyes and walk into the
minefield of Online business listening only to those
voices telling them to think positive.
It's a basic system that works….but not that easy.
The biggest Roadblock for most people is creating
so many products in less time. And specially in the
Internet Marketing Field where competitors are just
breathing down your neck fighting for the same piece
of pie, it becomes harder.
